Sharing My Magic...

Transient

Home again, home again, jiggity jig... This time for a stretch and I am ecstatic about it. It has been a long and busy summer. Lots of travel, all exciting and yet, sometimes too much of a good thing is... well, you know...

Each trip has been in and of itself amazing, enjoyable, exciting. and man oh man is it hard to stay on track when moving from here to there and everywhere in between, especially with two little monchichis in tow.

We arrived home yesterday from Hawaii. It was beautiful. 17 family members convening in Oahu for 8 days together. Really darn magical...

In addition to sun and surf I played a bit with the bamboo paper app on my ipad and have to admit- I loved it even though I really didn't want to. I did a few story circles on the beach with and without the kids, loved that as well. I even started an artist travel journal by altering a Hawaiian book of maps- will share that soon... All good stuff.

Home now and wondering why I didn't post, focusing on where I went wrong, wondering if I should just quit the daily (or quite honestly frequent at this point) posting. In exhausted fogs wondering why I started to pursue this dream of doing my artwork again anyway...

Fortunately, Two things happened.

I was chatting about how defeated I felt with a friend and her response was "Jet lag always f's with my head...." essentially giving me a pass for all of my worries. The second thing that happened was within minutes I got a text from my friend Robin Hallett who had just shared her affirmation cards with a new client (read about them here). She then told me she drew one for me and here is what it was(the crazy thing is she knew nothing of the conversation I was just having...):

So.... Thanks to two friends and their lovely support here I am... scribbling on my ipad for today's work, posting and sharing my magic with the world. It feels pretty darn good too!

Now off to sleep:) Aloha...
