Sharing, Teaching, Painting, Bliss

Last night I returned to teaching art for the first time in over 3 years. It was at Hannah Marcotti's beautiful loft space in Pawtucket, RI.

Canvases, cocktails, circling and conversation. Some women were used to getting their hands dirty, some hadn't picked up a brush for decades. All came with the common need to commune and create.

We shared stories and snacks. We taught one another many things in the process. We painted and pasted. We created beautiful things. These words don't come close to describing the event...

I felt my bliss!

It was more than I could have imagined for my first class back. Everything at the loft always seems to be. This beautiful space, these gorgeous women who travel from all around, and Hannah...

Magic, fierce, fierce magic...

Here is a write up on the evening by the lovely Elizabeth Duvivier. Lots of photos on instagram using #refloweringattheloft
